8th Graders: As you continue your FINAL quarter at OLM - instead of cheering - YES it's great to grow up and move on - but before we do, let us make the effort to be the team that Father spoke of last Thursday and that you were last Thursday morning and night. A team where each person is appreciated and respected for who they are and what they have to offer. Let us look less at ourselves and what we want and more at our team and what great memories we can make in these last few months. Let us make people smile and laugh and help to bring about His Kingdom!

8th Graders: As we begin this week with "President Day" holidays, let us think about what makes good leaders in our world. One of the most followed leaders in our present society was born a little over 2000 years ago and today has more than 2 billion followers. Each of us can be like this leaders if we follow His ways: to love God above all things and to treat your neighbor with the mercy, compassion, and love that you want for yourself. Beginning tomorrow on the day of love, Valentine's Day, let us try to follow His example and let our love bring about His "Peaceable Kingdom."
